Spectrum Noir are showcasing their amazing sparkle pens again this week on Hochanda. As always – I wish we had sparkle vision on computers but please believe me when I say these are SUPER sparkly in real life! Here are the samples that I have recently made…
Show times: Sunday 19th November 2017 at 11am and 3pm.
Crafter’s Companion <--- UK website
Stamps: Hydrangea Heart by Cherry Green
This first card is actually coloured in with the Spectrum Noir alcohol pens but then I have used the clear sparkle pen as an overlay on the butterfly and the flowers.
Stamps: Macaroons by Donna Ratcliffe
This is a more pastel hue card using the paler seasons colours.
Stamps: Time Flies by Donna Ratcliffe
The watch casing has been coloured using a brown, an orange and a yellow colour from the seasons sets to great a three-tone blend. As they are watercolour pens you can do all of your favourite techniques with them! The background is created by scribbling onto my craft mat and splashing my card into it.
Stamps: Marmaduke by Donna Ratcliffe
Or forget about pastel colours and 3-tone blends and just go straight in for all bold bright colours!!! I have used Decoart liquid glass on the lenses and the colours stayed put.
Stamps: Quirky Florals by Donna Ratcliffe
Cog die by Sheena Douglass
The main image has been embossed and coloured onto Neenah desert storm (craft) card to show how they work on different surfaces. The colours used here are from the vintage sets. The cogs have also been stamped with the pens directly.
