Latest Tags for February

This month I have made four tags with the latest Craftwork Cards collections this I wanted to share..’'.

  

 Velvet Plum and stamped with ‘Love’ on candi pieces. Tag was from essentials collection and coloured with distress inks.

 More Than Words: Tag was a yellow base coat tag and elements and words were scalpled from the papers.

  Truly Scrumptious: this one was different for me and I tried to play mainly with a single element from the papers and coloured it with watercolour pencils and liquid pearls

Butterfly Parade: what a beautifully effective kit!  Tag was from the Base Coat set and the butterflies have been glittered with stickles.

Stamped Art – Sheena Douglass Magical Range and Aquatints

First up I have a wall hanging (all card and ribbon) that I am calling Four Elements (Earth, Air, Fire and Water).  The stamped detail was done with black embossing powder and then painted in with Aquatints and Twinkling H2Os.

The next picture features the same angel stamp plus sentiment.  This was stamped and coloured with a single colour of aquatint.  The moon and rays (not visible in the photo) were done with a pearl blue H2o.

 

Box Frame Cards and Altered Match Boxes

It has been a busy half term week for me as no work and no school runs have allowed me to play!  I came across the tutorial for the framed cards on the Craftwork Cards Blog and wanted to make a handful in my different paper collections from them.  Also I made these darling little altered matchboxes to match each with their own special secret inside.  Lots of stickles, glossy accents and liquid pearls were used.

Mixed Media Journal: Have a Happy Story

This journal spread features the new Craftwork Cards kit ‘More Than Words’ and I was able to complete the whole piece adding little more than some distress inks and acrylic paints.

Wow colourful! I got the idea for this one from a video on YouTube and went wild with what I had.
